Mira sitzt am Tisch. Sie hat ihr Handy in der Hand.

Sie sucht eine Arztpraxis im Internet. Auf der Webseite steht: Termine nur am Telefon.

She looks for a doctor's office on the internet. On the website it says: Appointments by phone only.

Mira hat ein bisschen Angst. Aber sie denkt: „Ich kann das.“ Dann ruft sie an.

Mira is a little scared. But she thinks: “I can do this.” Then she calls.

Eine Frau antwortet schnell: „Praxis Dr. Keller, guten Tag.“ Mira sagt: „Guten Tag. Ich möchte bitte einen Termin machen.“

A woman answers quickly: “Dr. Keller's office, good day.” Mira says: “Good day. I would like to make an appointment, please.”

Die Frau fragt: „Was ist das Problem?“ Mira erklärt: „Ich habe Halsschmerzen und Kopfschmerzen.“ „Seit zwei Tagen.“

The woman asks: “What is the problem?” Mira explains: “I have a sore throat and a headache.” “For two days.”

„Haben Sie Fieber?“, fragt die Frau. „Ein bisschen“, antwortet Mira.

“Do you have a fever?” asks the woman. “A little,” Mira answers.

Mira sitzt am Küchentisch und hat ihr Handy in der Hand. Sie fühlt sich nicht gut. Ihr Hals tut weh und sie hat starke Kopfschmerzen.

Mira hat ein bisschen Angst vor dem Anruf auf Deutsch. Aber sie sagt zu sich selbst: „Okay, ich schaffe das.“ Dann ruft sie in der Arztpraxis an.

Eine Frau am Telefon antwortet sehr schnell: „Praxis Dr. Keller, guten Tag.“ Mira ist ein bisschen überrascht. Sie sagt: „Guten Tag. Ich möchte bitte einen Termin machen.“

A woman on the phone answers very quickly: “Dr. Keller's office, good day.” Mira is a little surprised. She says: “Good day. I would like to make an appointment, please.”

Die Frau fragt: „Worum geht es denn?“ Mira ist nervös und ihr Kopf ist plötzlich leer. Sie kennt die Wörter, aber sie findet sie nicht schnell.

The woman asks: “What is it about?” Mira is nervous and her mind suddenly goes blank. She knows the words, but she can't find them quickly.

Dann antwortet sie: „Ich habe Halsschmerzen und Kopfschmerzen.“ „Das habe ich schon seit zwei Tagen“, erklärt sie.

Then she answers: “I have a sore throat and a headache.” “I have had it for two days,” she explains.

Mira saß am Küchentisch und schaute auf ihr Handy. Sie hatte den ganzen Vormittag gehofft, dass es von allein besser wird. Aber ihre Halsschmerzen waren immer noch da und die Kopfschmerzen wurden sogar stärker.

„Haben Sie auch Fieber?“, fragte die Frau am Telefon. „Ein bisschen, aber nicht sehr hoch“, antwortete Mira. Dann kam die nächste Frage: „Sind Sie gesetzlich oder privat versichert?“

“Do you also have a fever?” the woman on the phone asked. “A little, but not very high,” Mira answered. Then came the next question: “Are you publicly or privately insured?”

Mira saß am Küchentisch und fühlte sich nicht gut. Sie hatte den ganzen Vormittag gehofft, dass ihre Hals- und Kopfschmerzen von allein verschwinden würden, aber stattdessen wurden sie stärker.
