In 2025, about 1.51 million people take a cruise. They set off from a port in Germany. That is what the Federal Statistical Office says.

Das sind etwa 4 Prozent mehr als im Jahr davor. Vor der Corona-Zeit, im Jahr 2019, waren es rund 1,33 Millionen.

That is about 4 percent more than the year before. Before the coronavirus period, in 2019, it was around 1.33 million.
