Welcome to Mitlesen! These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Mitlesen mobile application and website (collectively, the "Service"), operated by Hani und Radin Studio ("we," "us," or "our").

By downloading, accessing, or using Mitlesen, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.

1. Use of the Service

Mitlesen is a language learning application designed to help you learn German through graded stories and dictionaries. You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.

1.1 License

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use the Mitlesen app for your personal, non-commercial use.

1.2 Restrictions

You agree not to:

• Copy, modify, or create derivative works based on the Service or its content.
• Attempt to decompile, reverse engineer, or extract source code from the app.
• Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.
• Harass, abuse, or harm another person or group.
• Interfere with or disrupt the security or performance of the Service.

2. Accounts and Subscriptions

2.1 Accounts

You may need to create an account to access certain features. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

2.2 Subscriptions

Some features of Mitlesen may require a paid subscription ("Premium"). Subscriptions are managed via the platform you downloaded the app from (e.g., Google Play Store or Apple App Store).

• Billing: Fees are billed in advance on a recurring basis (e.g., monthly or annually).
• Cancellation: You can cancel your subscription at any time through your app store settings. Your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period.
• Refunds: Refunds are handled by the respective app store (Google or Apple) in accordance with their refund policies.

3. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content (including but not limited to stories, text, graphics, logos, and software) are the property of Hani und Radin Studio and its licensors and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

4. User Content

If the Service allows you to post or save content (e.g., notes, highlights), you retain ownership of your data. However, by using the Service, you grant us a license to store and process this data to provide the Service to you.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. We make no warranties, expressed or implied, regarding the operation of the Service or the accuracy of the learning materials.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Hani und Radin Studio shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the Service.

7. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new Terms on this page. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
